Specializing in fine custom cabinetry since 1961, Mint Hill Cabinet Shop was originally started by MC Carriker as a one-man shop, and since then, the company has grown to be one of the largest true custom cabinet shops in the southeast.

Mr. Carriker's sons John and Richard have managed the business since 1980. Both sons grew up in the business, from playing in the sawdust when too young to work, to designing and building some of the finest cabinetry possible.

There are little limitations to what Mint Hill Cabinet Shop can build for you. Unlike most shops, which only offer one basic type of construction, our experienced craftsmen at Mint Hill Cabinet Shop are fully equipped to handle any type of residential or commercial cabinet project.

Mint Hill Cabinet Shop was founded in 1961 by the current owners father MC Carriker, who was a well-known custom homebuilder in the Mint Hill and Charlotte, N.C., areas. Current owner, John Carriker, has over 40 Years of experience and was raised in the cabinetry business along with the majority of his staff, which has over 10 years of experience in the cabinetry business.

We have a well-equipped showroom and computer aided design software. Our staff of highly-trained and experienced craftsman has the latest state-of-the-art equipment available to custom design any cabinet system. Mint Hill Cabinet Shop is known for doing the highest quality of work available. We strive to treat and work on each job as if it were for our own homes.
